The Property

The Watson Estate is a unique, 'one-of-a-kind' property, located in the beautiful Centennial/Rouge River Area of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. It has frontage on both Centennial Road and Acheson Boulevard.

The total site is 1.63 hectares (4.03 acres), fronting on both Acheson Boulevard and Centennial Road and is bisected by Centennial Creek. In 2001 the property was severed into two lots.

The Acheson Boulevard parcel is approximately 0.71 hectares is on the west side of the creek. The Acheson Boulevard frontage is approximately 259.9 feet. This parcel is L-shaped with a main rectangular section fronting on Acheson Boulevard and then a small driveway, lined with maple trees, ending on Centennial Road. There is a small concrete bridge spanning the creek. This driveway, with grass border, ends at Centennial Road with 53.35 feet frontage.

The Centennial Road parcel is approximately 0.91 hectares and is generally rectangular in shape with a frontage of 296.92 feet on Centennial Road.

The property is largely vacant land with a small apple orchard on the east side of the creek and a brick split-level home and a small barn (with two apple coolers) on the west. Municipal sanitary, storm, and water services are available for connections from both Centennial Road and Acheson Blvd.

Despite being in the built-up suburbs, it is not uncommon to see deer eating the fallen apples in the orchard.
